EU Fails Audit for 20th Successive Year

According to the annual report of the European Court of Auditors, £109B out of a total of £117B spent by the EU in 2013 was “affected by material error”.
According to a research document by Tim Congdon, economist, the cost to the UK of EU membership, including the costs of regulation, resource mis-allocation, waste, fraud and corruption is put at £185B pa or 11.5% of UK GDP.
This cost would more than cover the UK’s annual budget deficit with the surplus going to repay the £1.4T public sector debt mountain…and maybe reduce taxes.
